Great Lakes Business Credit Awarded ‘Best of MichBusiness’ Honors

TROY, Mich., Jan. 26, 2022 – Great Lakes Business Credit, one of the nation’s fastest-growing asset-based commercial financing companies, has been named a “Best of MichBusiness” honoree.

The Best of MichBusiness Awards celebrates the programs and companies that make Michigan a great place to live and work. The awards program honors the companies that made a difference in 2021 and showed outstanding leadership in a time of social and economic uncertainty.

It’s also a platform to showcase the best practices of these award-winning companies to inspire greatness within Michigan’s business community.

Great Lakes Business Credit was selected for the award based on its recent expansion and move to a new and larger headquarters, backed by a five-year growth plan. Despite ongoing economic and pandemic challenges, the company tripled its business over the past 16 months. A recapitalization in August 2020 expanded its lending capabilities.

In addition to its consistent work with minority and veteran owned companies, Great Lakes Business Credit plans to expand its business footprint throughout 2022 to include the eastern half of the U.S., from Minneapolis to Dallas and all points east.

“We are very honored to be included among the many successful Michigan businesses receiving this award. It’s a tribute to the hard work and dedicated customer focus of our entire team,” said Rhett Rowe, CEO, Great Lakes Business Credit.

Great Lakes Business Credit will join other honorees at the Best of MichBusiness Virtual Awards Celebration, slated for Thursday, Feb.10.
